Corinna received her PhD in psychology from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Currently, she holds the position of associate professor for methods and statistics at the Faculty of Psychology of UniDistance Suisse. She has been serving as the president of the Swiss Statistical Society since 2022.

Rachel is a postdoctoral fellow in meta research at the Center for Reproducible Science, University of Zurich. She holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Zurich and worked as a statistician in the data team of the Swiss National Science Foundation before finding her way back to research. Her research interest revolve around open science, reproducibility and research evaluation. She is a member of the committee of the SSS since summer 2020.

Since 2018, Ernst C. Wit is Professor of Statistics and Data Science at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland. He obtained PhDs in Philosophy (1997, Pennsylvania State University) and in Statistics (2000, University of Chicago). He has held academic positions at the University of Glasgow, Lancaster University and at the University of Groningen. His research focusses on methodological development in high-dimensional inference with a specific focus on network modelling, such as graphical models and relational event models. His applied work has a biomedical focus, but recently has also started to work on socio-economical applications. He is the author of 150 peer-reviewed publications. He has served as the Secretary of the Royal Statistical Society Research Section, President of the European Bernoulli Society, as a Director in the Board of the International Biometrics Society, and president of the Dutch Biostatistics Society. Furthermore, he advises the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Netherlands on statistical matters relating to elections and referendums since 2014. He currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics at USI.

Marc Gindraux, master's degree in mathematics and postgraduate in Statistics from the University Neuchâtel, is vice director of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (SFSO) and head of the division “Territory and Environnement”. He has been serving as the President of the organisation committee of the Swiss Statistics Meeting since 2019. He is also a member of the Ethics Council for official Statistics.

Antonietta is Professor of Statistics, founder and director of the Data Science Lab at Università della Svizzera italiana, Lugano. She is also adjunct professor at University of Insubria, Italy and Queensland University of Technology, Australia. She has been nominated fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis and is member of the board of the Office of Federal Statistics, and of the Harvard Data Science Review. Her current research focuses on data science and Bayesian computational statistics, with a clear interdisciplinary scope with applications to life sciences, social sciences, finance and economics. Antonietta is involved in public outreach both as an organizer of events and as a speaker and through the media is engaged in the strengthening of the culture of data science.

Andrea Schnell a obtenu un master en sciences économiques à l’Université de Bâle, puis a travaillé dans la recherche économique empirique au sein de diverses institutions publiques et privées. Elle est co-responsable de l’Office statistique du canton de Zurich.

Michael Leuenberger obtained a Master's degree in mathematics from the University of Neuchâtel and received his PhD in Geosciences from the University of Lausanne.
Since 2019 he works at the Statistical Methods Unit of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (SFSO). He is a member of the SSS committee since winter 2025 and he is the treasurer of the Swiss Statistical Society and of the Swiss Statistics Meeting.

Dr. Dominik Pfluger, PhD in Biology University of Berne, postgraduate in Statistics from University Neuchâtel and diploma of data science at ZHAW Winterthur. Consultant in medical statistics and SAS programming since 1995. He has published and co authored many scientific publications in the area of epidemiology, oncology and orthopaedic research. His main interest in statistics are random effects models. Has been serving as the President of the section BI since 2019.
