Corinna received her PhD in psychology from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Currently, she holds the position of associate professor for methods and statistics at the Faculty of Psychology of UniDistance Suisse. She has been serving as the president of the Swiss Statistical Society since 2022.

Rachel is a postdoctoral fellow in meta research at the Center for Reproducible Science, University of Zurich. She holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Zurich and worked as a statistician in the data team of the Swiss National Science Foundation before finding her way back to research. Her research interest revolve around open science, reproducibility and research evaluation. She is a member of the committee of the SSS since summer 2020.

Laurent is Professor of Applied Statistics and Modelling (ASAM) and Head of the research group in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Fribourg. His teaching experience includes Mathematics and Econometrics, Introductory Statistics, Survey Statistics, Applied Econometrics and Applied Statistics. His main research fields are survey methodology and specialized methods in Applied Statistics as wage discrimination, causal effects estimation, imputation and matching techniques, fuzzy statistics.

Marc Gindraux, master's degree in mathematics and postgraduate in Statistics from the University Neuchâtel, is vice director of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (SFSO) and head of the division “Territory and Environnement”. He has been serving as the President of the organisation committee of the Swiss Statistics Meeting since 2019. He is also a member of the Ethics Council for official Statistics.

Antonietta è professore di Statistica, fondatrice e direttrice del Data Science Lab presso l'Università della Svizzera italiana, Lugano. È inoltre professore aggiunto presso l'Università dell'Insubria, Italia, e la Queensland University of Technology, Australia. È stata nominata fellow dell'Institute of Mathematical Statistics e dell'International Society for Bayesian Analysis ed è membro del consiglio dell'Office of Federal Statistics e della Harvard Data Science Review. La sua ricerca attuale si concentra sulla scienza dei dati e sulla statistica computazionale bayesiana, con una chiara portata interdisciplinare e applicazioni alle scienze della vita, alle scienze sociali, alla finanza e all'economia. Ha vinto premi per l'eccellenza nella ricerca e nell'insegnamento. Antonietta è coinvolta nella divulgazione pubblica sia come organizzatrice di eventi che come relatrice e attraverso i media è impegnata nel rafforzamento della cultura della scienza dei dati.

Daniel Kilchmann received a master’s degree in mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne from EPFL. He is deputy head of the Statistical methods unit of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (SFSO). He is a member of the committee of the SSS since summer 2020 and he is the treasurer of the Swiss Statistical Society and of the Swiss Statistics Meeting.

Dr. Dominik Pfluger, PhD in Biology University of Berne, postgraduate in Statistics from University Neuchâtel and diploma of data science at ZHAW Winterthur. Consultant in medical statistics and SAS programming since 1995. He has published and co authored many scientific publications in the area of epidemiology, oncology and orthopaedic research. His main interest in statistics are random effects models. Has been serving as the President of the section BI since 2019.
